REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS
SERVICES
The Contractor shall provide everything needed to meet all the requirements of the RFQ in-ground refuse collection and disposal services including, without limitation any and all labour, materials, tools and equipment and transportation necessary to pick up refuse from City owned containers at the designated locations, and to properly dispose of all refuse into Contractor’s refuse hauling vehicle for disposal at the Contractor’s disposal facility. All Services must be performed to the complete satisfaction of the City.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
At each scheduled service, the Contractor is responsible for the removal of all refuse within the in-ground cans (8’ deep, 30” diameter) regardless of weight, location or content. All in-ground refuse bins/containers are the same size and specification. Waste bags of 6mm thickness or greater are required for lining the bins, the Contractor is responsible for the supply of waste bags.
ADDENDA
If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFQ, the City Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid Website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca and the City Website at www.surrey.ca (collectively, the “Websites”), and upon posting, any addenda will form part of this RFQ. It is the responsibility of Contractors to check the Websites for addenda. The only way this RFQ may be added to, or amended in any way, is by a formal written addendum. No other communication, whether written or oral, from any person will affect or modify the terms of this RFQ or may be relied upon by any Contractor. By delivery of a Quotation, the Contractor is deemed to have received, accepted and understood the entire RFQ, including any and all addenda.
