    Notice of Intent to Award a Contract
    Notice is hereby given by the City of Abbotsford of its intent to extend it contract with Tyler Technologies Inc. for the following services on behalf of the City of Abbotsford:
    Ongoing support and maintenance of the My City App software solution
    Background
    The My City App is integrated as part of the City’s IT and communications system with its residents. It is not feasible at this time to replace or develop a new app due to the integration with current City systems. The My city App was developed by Tyler Technologies Inc. and staying with this contractor is the best option at this time.
    Scope of Services
    The supplier will continue to provide support and maintenance services in the My City App for the duration of the current agreement. The My City App allows residents to receive updates about City business and provide timely feedback to the City on concerns and issues. The My City App has become a key service and communication tool for the City.
    Intent of Direct Award
    The City intends to extend the current contract for the My City App for a period of two (2) years commencing January 1, 2023 at a total anticipated cost of $110,000 plus GST.
    Firms wishing to object to this decision should email their objection by April 18, 2023, before 2:00 pm, local time to:

    Suppliers objecting must provide specific reasons for their objection. The supplier’s ability to provide services of the same or better quality, within the required time frame will be the key criteria with regard to the consideration of supplier objections.
