Description
This Request for Information (“RFI”) is issued by the City of Abbotsford (the “City”) for the purposes of gathering information about the marketplace in order to assist in the determination of future purchasing options or requirements.
The RFI generally consists of research and investigation of existing parking technologies that might meet and address the City’s future parking technology needs. Parking technology solutions may include but is not limited to software, hardware, and digital infrastructure that may be required to facilitate paid parking, parking payment, real time parking monitoring, and real-time parking information. Parking technology solutions should seek to fulfill any or all of the following actions:
  • Adopt Parking Technology to Facilitate Paid Parking
  • Develop Parking Occupancy Monitoring Program
  • Develop a Residential Parking Permit System (for on-street parking)
  • Implement Paid Parking Program for All-Day Parking Lots
  • Install Real-time Information Displays in City-Owned Off-Street Lots
