Description
Island Health provides Mental Health and Substance Use (“MHSU”) services for the population across the Island for both adults, children and youth. The services are focused on supporting individuals with moderate to serious mental illness and/or substance use issues through acute and community care.
Island Health is seeking proposals from organizations across the Island Health catchment region as well as those that are regional in scope with expertise in eating disorders to provide virtual and in-person counselling and support services for individuals struggling /dealing with eating disorders (such individuals are referred to as “Clients”). Successful Proponent(s) will also be expected to provide a multi-disciplinary team of qualified psychiatrists, psychologists, dieticians, primary care/nurse practitioners and counsellor(s) within accessible, safe and confidential settings, who are experienced and can provide virtual one-to-one and/or group counselling services that are tailored to meet the needs of the individual Clients.
