    Description
    For this opportunity, the Ministry is seeking to enter into a single contract with a Contractor to provide Fertilizer Dispensing Services for the Arrow Lakes Reservoir Nutrient Restoration Program and Hill Creek Spawning Channel Maintenance Services. Location of these Services will occur at the Hill Creek Spawning Channel (60 km north of Nakusp, BC).
    The Fertilizer Dispensing Services will include communicating with the fertilizer supplier and Ministry Fish Restoration Biologist, loading fertilizer from the Hill Creek Tank Farm located at the Spawning Channel, dispensing fertilizer from the Contractor’s truck into Upper Arrow Reservoir from the Columbia ferry, installation of diffuser bars on the ferry, maintaining the tanks, valves, couplers and hoses at the Hill Creek Tank Farm, clean up at the Tank Farm at the end of the dispensing season and monitoring safety issues at the Tank Farm.
    The Hill Creek Spawning Channel Maintenance Services will include communicating with Ministry staff, settling pond cleaning and spawning gravel scarification.
    The Contract will be for a one-year term, with the option to extend on the same terms and conditions at the Province’s sole discretion for up to two one-year terms.
    Proponents should note that the opportunity described in this RFP is contingent on the Ministry securing funding, which is anticipated to be by March 1, 2023.
