Description
The WFN Land Use Law guides decisions affecting the physical development and redevelopment on WFN Lands. The update will provide a modernized guiding document that reflects the community’s unique character and provides a clear process, together with specific guidelines and policies, of how WFN can build upon its strengths. The purpose of this review and update is to incorporate best practices, ensure conformance with goals and actions/strategies within the 2022 WFN Comprehensive Community Plan, improve usability, be written in plain language and have appealing visual documents to describe process and regulations. In addition, the project will include the creation of the following documents to support the WFN Land Use Law (specifically the Zoning Regulations, Schedule “B”):
- Urban Design and Placemaking Requirements
- Development Permit Areas
- Development Landscape Requirements/Standards
