Vancouver General Hospital Steam to Hot Water Feasibility Study

Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) intends to extend the contract with Kerr Wood Leidal for their services as the Prime Consultant for the Vancouver General Hospital (VGH) Steam to Hot Water Feasibility Study, Project Number E298-00.
The maximum value of this contract extension will be $50,000.00 - plus tax. VCH has chosen not to complete a Request for Proposal (RFP) process but negotiate the contemplated contract for the following reasons:
Provide proof showing your experience related to the requirements defined in this Notice of Intent. Only challenges from qualified Consulting firms will be reviewed.

Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) intends to extend the contract with Kerr Wood Leidal for their services as the Prime Consultant for the Vancouver General Hospital (VGH) Steam to Hot Water Feasibility Study, Project Number E298-00.
The maximum value of this contract extension will be $50,000.00 - plus tax. VCH has chosen not to complete a Request for Proposal (RFP) process but negotiate the contemplated contract for the following reasons:
- Kerr Wood Leidal has been providing consultancy services for the site and project since Feb 2022.
- Kerr Wood Leidal has established working relationships with the VGH project team, Energy Centre team, Facility Maintenance and Operations team, and broad stakeholders.
- Kerr Wood Leidal has knowledge of VGH site and existing infrastructure, enabling the study to be expedited to align with ongoing steam infrastructure work.
- Kerr Wood Leidal has knowledge and experience planning and developing steam to hot water conversions on campuses with health facilities.
- Kerr Wood Leidal is registered and complies with all applicable WorkSafe BC regulations.
- Kerr Wood Leidal has professional liability insurance coverage in an amount not less than $250,000 inclusive per occurrence (aggregate $250,000).
