Description
The construction of a new community garden located along  the SE section of the 400 block of Alder Street, north of the Spirit Trail. Works include, but are not limited to, general clearing & grabbing, bulk earthworks and site grading, supply and installation of new onsite water and drainage services including connections to City services, Allan block retaining walls, new surfacing and pathways, standard wood garden beds with growing medium, accessible raised planters, stairs, handrails, perimeter fencing, bench seating and other outdoor furniture, storage shed. This project will also include the supply and installation of general roadworks including curb and gutter, rain gardens and street markings and signage. Additionally, the project will include the relocation of an existing public art and bird baths from the existing site to this new community garden. See attachment for details.
