Description
In support of the provincial review and assessment of current silviculture policies, programs and practices, the Forest Science, Planning and Practices Branch requires support for the development of new and improved silviculture strategies and program framework.  The provincial silviculture strategy, free growing framework review, commercial thinning project, integrated stewardship strategies and follow-up monitoring, forest landscape planning support, and technical working groups, such as drought management are all in scope for the services required under this contract.
The proponent will have a strong background in:
  • Silviculture expertise for guidance and treatment regime development,
  • Meeting and workshop facilitation, and
  • Project management.
