Description
Services of a Contractor are being sought to deliver extension and training services and supporting materials. This Contract is intended to transfer technical knowledge to producers and provincial government staff on water management strategies at the farm, local, regional and provincial levels. The intended outcomes are to help adopt beneficial water management practices, encourage drought preparedness, support climate change adaptation, and improve water and food security.
This Contract will commence in approximately three (3) weeks after the closing date of the RFP and will end on March 31, 2024. At the discretion of the Ministry, the term of this Contract may be extended for up to four more years or four subsequent one-year terms, on the same or similar terms and conditions.
The maximum Contract budget is $30,000.00 per year, excluding Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Provincial Sales Tax (PST). The maximum Contract budget would be $150,000.00 if all options to renew are exercised.
