    Description
    The Town of Port McNeill invites tenders for the Landslide Mitigation Works Phase 3 project which includes the
    following generalized scope of work:

    Work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, all supervision, construction, equipment, labour, materials,
    permits, and related items required for the proposed slope dewatering/stabilization project. Work includes the
    installation of solid & perforated PVC drainpipe running parallel to the top of bank located within the rear yards of
    those properties north of Broughton Boulevard, Haddington Crescent, and Cardena Crescent (excluding some areas
    as completed in phases 1 & 2). Work related to the solid PVC drainpipe includes tying in the perforated pipe at
    regular intervals, and installing manholes, cleanouts/inspection chambers, fittings, trench dams, and new services or
    existing service tie-ins along the length of the pipe. Slope drains with anchor blocks are proposed be installed
    running down the bank in multiple locations and tie into existing drainage infrastructure on Beach Drive. Work also
    includes installing no-post barriers at the foot of the slope along the south end of Beach Drive, and re-grading and
    performing a concrete surface treatment to the existing ditch at the north end of Beach Drive.
