Notice is hereby given that the Province of British Columbia, as represented by the Ministry of Forests is contemplating making a direct award of a contract to Forsite Consultants Ltd. (the “Supplier”).
The high-level details of the contemplated contract are generally described below.
This contract supports the Sunshine Coast Forest Landscape Plan pilot. Services include working closely with Indigenous Nations involved in the Forest Landscape Plan to provide GIS/analytical support, develop modelling assumptions, test landscape strategies, support the development of outcomes and planning guidelines, carry out sensitivity analysis while providing web-map services. The contractor will also ensure that all resultant data sets used to support the Forest Landscape Plan will be functional to carry out a Timber Supply Review post Forest Landscape Plan establishment.
The supplier will also assist in drafting the Forest Landscape Plan and where requested, assist in the development of a monitoring plan.
