Description
Forest Analysis and Inventory branch established a series of early (pre age 15 plots) in 2022 in the Cariboo and Omineca Regions. Standard YSM/CMI  procedures were used to set up the plots but all conifers  over 1m in height were tagged in the 11.28m radius plots. These plots will be assessed on a bi-annual basis starting with the Cariboo plots in 2023. Omineca plots will be assessed in 2024. In addition to standard YSM procedures, detailed stem rust measurements (see schedule A in sample contract) will be taken as part of these assessments.
