Description
The purpose of this project is to complete the second phase of a collaborative planning process to develop a visitor use management strategy (VUMS) for the hot springs in Maquinna Marine Park. The contractor will coordinate ongoing meetings of the Ahousaht – BC Parks joint technical working group, complete additional stakeholder and public engagement, and further develop the draft and final VUMS strategy. This VUMS planning process was initiated in 2022 as a collaborative effort by BC Parks and Ahousaht Nation.
