Description
The Ministry of Forests, Compliance and Enforcement Branch is seeking proposals for the removal of up to 10 structures, consisting of but not limited to the following:
  • Floating Docks
  • Gangways/ramps
  • Retention Structures
  • Boat Ways (rails) to the foreshore
  • Concrete piling on the foreshore
The structures are located at the mouth of Pender Harbour and at its head, in Gunboat Bay, on the Sechelt Peninsula. The precise number of structures, up to 10, will be known in mid-July 2023, once a trespass compliance inspection is completed. All work will need to occur from the water as there is no Crown Land access from the upland to any of the sites.
