Description
This project will examine how different populations in B.C. participate in, and benefit from, the ocean economy. Collecting intersectional demographic data such as sex, sexual orientation, gender identities, race, ethnicity, age, religion, and mental and physical abilities (and other identities) will help the Province better understand how some equity-seeking groups may be at risk of being left behind in an expanding ocean economy. Budget is up to $55,000 for two phases of work. The contract is expected to run until September 15th, 2023 with the possibility of one four-month extension as needed.
