    Description
The scope of the BCER’s roles and responsibilities include completing regulatory based compliance and enforcement inspections of applicable industry activities and infrastructure that fall within the BCER’s regulatory framework. It is imperative that Compliance and Enforcement Officers remain informed on the rapidly evolving technology, equipment, and practices within the Oil and Gas Industry. To support robust and ongoing training for both new and existing Compliance and Enforcement Officers, the BCER has identified the need to update internal training material to better reflect the current operating environment, technology, and equipment within British Columbia’s Oil and Gas industry. The BCER is seeking a qualified individual or organization to complete the development of supplementary modules specific to surface production equipment, to help support this ongoing training initiative. The BCER is in the process of updating current internal training practices and developing a comprehensive training program to better align with the advancing technology in British Columbia’s oil and gas industry. This training program involves administrative, field-based, and technical theory components, which will support the broad range of activities BCER staff are responsible for through the course of their work. The completion of these modules specific to oil and gas production surface equipment, will serve as a foundational theory knowledge component of the BCER’s broader training and development program. These modules will supplement the technical knowledge of compliance and enforcement officers, and support other departments within the organization, while complimenting specific field and administrative training initiatives
