Description
This Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Province of British Columbia invites BC organizations, groups or committees serving populations experiencing or at risk of homelessness in BC to prepare and submit a proposal to create, operate and administrate a People with Lived/Living Experience (PWLE) Advisory Committee on Homelessness (the Committee). The Committee will support provincial policy and decision-making regarding actions on homelessness through:
- Providing input and advice regarding the impact and implementation of the Provincial Homelessness Plan actions through set quarterly meetings and other avenues.
- Providing input and feedback on related homelessness-related initiatives identified by the Committee, government, or community partners.
- Promoting the inclusion of diverse perspectives of those with lived/living experience of homelessness as demonstrated in a wide range of committee member representation, including racial, gender, age, people with disabilities, and urban and rural representation.
Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 36 month(s).
