    The District of Clearwater (“DoC”) is adding back-up standby generators to two sites; the Municipal
    DLCC Building, and the Well #3 site.

    The successful bidder will enter into an agreement with the Owner using a stipulated price Contract.
    The successful bidder will be required to coordinate with other parties including the Consultant(s),
    and BC Hydro, to ensure a complete design that meets the requirements of the Contract Documents
    as well as the District of Clearwater design standards, if applicable.

    The work is expected to commence immediately with completion in June 2024, subject to
    timeframes around delivery of equipment.

    The Bid Documents are accessible in electronic form at www.bcbid.com. Bid Documents are not
    available in hard copy.

    A pre-bid meeting and site visit will be held at the time and place indicated in the Bid Documents.
     Scope of Work
     The scope of work consists of the following.

    Well No. 3
    1. Provide diesel backup generator, concrete pad for generator, conduit and cabling between
    generator and building load center and building control panel.
    2. Integrate generator inputs/outputs in to existing building control panel.
    3. Commission, test, and configure the generator.
    4. Provide training to Owner.

    DLCC
    1. Provide new exterior rated kiosk complete with new service entrance including wireway and
    main fused disconnect, metering and CT enclosure, transfer switch, and distribution panel.
    2. Provide concrete foundation complete with crushed gravel and all excavation. Remove
    material and provide new clean materials as required.
    3. Provide conduit, cabling, excavation, sand and any backfill material to intercept existing BC
    Hydro service and run service in to kiosk and building.
    4. Provide diesel backup generator, concrete pad, conduit and cabling. Tie into existing
    building electrical.
