Description
The Corporation of the City of White Rock (the “City”) is inviting proposals from qualified teams or candidate(s) to undertake a facility and services needs assessment for the Kent Street Activity Centre – a dedicated, stand-alone seniors centre in White Rock. The City of White Rock is exploring the future expansion, replacement, or relocation of the Kent Street Activity Centre. This potential project has been identified by the Kent Street Seniors Executive based on the aging state of the current facility and the need to adequately serve the current population of seniors in the community as well as the anticipated population growth of this demographics over the next few years. The needs assessment is needed to validate the previously identified space needs and provide a point of reference to support the refinement of the facility program and future design phases. Conduct a needs assessment based on feedback from stakeholders, community residents about what they feel are the immediate and future recreation needs of older adults in White Rock. This includes a review of program use in the Kent Street Activity Centre and the possible need for future investment in a larger facility to meet the current and future demands
