Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) intends to award the contract to Dialog Design for Prime Consultant Services for the VGH Immunology Renovation & Ventilation Modernization Project.
The maximum value of this contract award (including sub consultants fees) will be $900,000.00 - plus tax. VCH have chosen not to complete a Request for Proposal (RFP) process for the following reasons:
- Dialog Design has good understanding of the project histories, current site conditions, Facilities Maintenance & Operations (FMO) challenges/needs, and attended multiple site meetings.
- Dialog Design has completed the schematic design for this project and successfully performed the Prime Consultant role for similar projects at VCH. The Immunology Lab requires redesigning lab spaces to meet Biosafety Level 2 standards, PCR room configuration, familiarity with Biostorage facility design and Liquid Nitrogen Freezer/safety systems design. The project requires the modernization of HVAC to a hydronic system for two bays.
- Dialog Design has established good working relationships with the Project stakeholders within Vancouver Coastal Health.
- Dialog Design has Comprehensive Commercial General Liability insurance coverage in an amount not less than $2,000,000.00 inclusive per occurrence against bodily injury, personal injury and property damage.
- Dialog Design has Automobile Liability insurance coverage on all vehicles owned, operated or licensed in an amount not less than $ 2,000,000.00.
- Dialog Design has professional liability insurance coverage in an amount not less than $2,000,000.00.
- Dialog Design is registered and comply with all applicable WorkSafe BC regulations.

Provide proof showing your experience related to the requirements defined in this Notice of Intent. Only challenges from qualified Consulting firms will be reviewed.
