Description
The Province is seeking the services of a multi-disciplinary team of qualified Engineering Professionals in the forest sector for the assessment of a concrete box culvert which is:
  • Approximately 60m long
  • 3m wide x 3m high
  • Under 15m fill cover depth
  • Located on the Kettle Valley Rail Trail (KVRT) and passes the flow of Allison Creek 3.5km Northeast of the town of Princeton.
The Assessment report will provide recommendations for repair or replacement. The subsequent repair or replacement design work will be offered to the incumbent proponent under the same contract, based on negotiated costs, OR retendered. Costs for the assessment phase will be evaluated whereas costs for the design phase will not be evaluated. The decision to proceed with the incumbent for the design will be at the sole discretion of the Province.
The contract being offered will be a Consulting and General Services contract with a term of 1 year ending on March 31st, 2024.
Final Assessment Report is to be delivered to the Province no later than October 15th, 2023.
Final Detailed Design, if approved, is to be delivered to the Province no later than February 1st, 2024.
