Description
To provide an update to Fairmont Debris Flow and Debris Flood Hazard and Risk Assessment, by conducting an assessment as outlined in Professional Practice Guidelines for Landslide Assessments in British Columbia Version 4.1 (or latest version) and provide structural and non-structural debris flood mitigation options on Fairmont Creek. This project will update the existing 10-year-old hazard assessment to include recent debris events, recently constructed mitigation infrastructure and new provincial and EGBC guidelines on hazard mapping, hazard risk assessment, and climate change. The assessment will also recommend mitigations measures, if necessary, mitigation conceptual design, and construction cost estimates.
