Description
- Plan, coordinate and facilitate virtual, face-to-face meetings and communications between the Province of BC, the Tahltan Central Government, and where necessary, public and stakeholders, to support the advancement of: Interim Measures; the development of proposed LUP zoning and management direction; preferred scenario options and analysis; Stakeholder Engagement and, Draft LUP recommendations, as part of the Tahltan-BC LUP project lifecycle.
- The facilitator will work alongside both governments to ensure alignment of communication and provide project facilitation support at the Province’s and Tahltan Central Government's request.
The Contractor should have comprehensive knowledge of BC land use planning policies and existing legislation relevant to land use planning, natural resource management and reconciliation. They should have experience working with northern Indigenous governments and planning tables.
The term of the contract will be from approximately September 13, 2023 until March 15, 2024. The maximum value of the contract will be $50,000.00 for the 2023/2024 Fiscal Year. There may be two options for renewals for Fiscal Year(s) 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 for a maximum value of $100,000.00 for each year.

The estimated contract period will be 6 month(s).
