Description
GeoBC seeks information regarding satellite imagery and related services to support land use planning, natural resource management and monitoring, climate change adaptation and mitigation, and emergency resilience and response. Access to archived and real-time high-resolution satellite imagery enables timely, evidence-based decision-making for British Columbia’s land and resources. Increasingly, satellite products and services are valuable tools for preparing for, assessing and responding to environmental emergencies like wildfires, landslides, and floods.
