Description
The CRD is seeking proposals from qualified website design and implementation vendors who can demonstrate that they possess the organizational, functional, and technical capabilities to redesign the public website as a communication channel that integrates with other enterprise systems. This request is for discovery, design, build and deploy services.
The current CRD website launched in 2014 and has seen an increase in traffic and visitation year over year, now receiving more than 2 million visits per year. During this time community expectations and internal needs have evolved and it is crucial that the CRD adapt to external and internal drivers for change to ensure the website remains an effective communication channel.
The redesign project will replace the current corporate website and associated subsites with a new website that aligns with our goals related to accessibility, usability, transparent governance, and customer service.
The CRD is also planning to move from an on-premise solution to a hosted cloud solution. This would provide reliable uptime and the ability to adjust to any increase in website traffic seen during unforeseen events.
