BCNET is providing a potential opportunity with early notice on the following forthcoming scheduled project.
 
Project title: Request For Supplier Qualifications (“RFSQ”) for Cybersecurity Products and Solutions
 
Estimated Date of Posting: Week of September 11, 2023

The intention of the RFSQ is developing a roster of pre-qualified suppliers by which members may directly access or issue procurement requests by invitation to this roster.
BCNET will consider a range of supplier groups including:
  1. Suppliers that offer products and solutions directly or through a Value-Added Reseller / partner;
  2. Value Added Resellers (VAR’s) that could provide the some or a full range of products and solutions on behalf of a Supplier.
 
This RFSQ focuses on the following categories:
  1. Category A: Monitoring, Detection, and Response
  2. Category B: Privileged Access Management (PAM)
  3. Category C: Cloud Access Security Broker
  4. Category D: Enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance
  5. Category E: Data Security
  6. Category F: Web Application Firewall
 
BCNET is looking for a proponent who will:
  1. Offer a range of Products and Solutions that Members may require from time to time to enhance its cybersecurity posture;
  2. Provide Members access to leading suppliers to augment Members current solutions or for implementation of new solutions related to the protection of institutional systems and information; and
  3. Simplify access to solutions through a pre-qualified roster, Members can access qualified and certified resources in a cost-effective model while reducing the administrative efforts associated with procuring solutions on their own whist obtaining lower costs and value together rather than on their own.
 
Please note this notice does not:
  • Commit BCNET to issue any procurement invitations
  • Restrict BCNET to any particular procurement approach for any project listed
  • Provide a complete list of upcoming BCNET’s procurement opportunities
  • Constitute a call for tenders or proposals; or
  • Create any contractual or other legal obligation owed to any potential supplier by BCNET
