Brief description of the project:
The new Somass Community Hall is designed to post-disaster standards.
The building will have an open hall on the main floor with a seating capacity for approximately 200 people along with a commercial kitchen, washrooms facilities, storage, and janitor rooms.
The lower floor will have private offices, breakout rooms, storage, and janitor rooms.
Interested proponents are required to submit the latest version of the CCDC 11 Document as part of a pre-qualification process. We are seeking General Contractors who have completed similar building types, and have experience working with indigenous communities. The community will be looking for contractors that are willing to utilize band resources as much as possible.
