REG-23-6001 FM Essential program - Indoor Air Quality (IAQ)
Design, Procure and Installation of IAQ Sensors at FHA sites

Fraser Health Authority (FH) intends to extend the contract with Ainsworth Inc. for continued Mechanical/HVAC Engineering Consultant and Contractor Services and the installation of Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Sensors and Air Change (ACH) Assessment at multiple FHA sites to REG-23-6001 FM Essential program - Indoor Air Quality (Project). Ainsworth Inc. has provided the Engineering consultant services to date. The extension of the above-mentioned services is required due to Ainsworth Inc.’s expertise, very close familiarity with the site and the project, as well as their ability to meet short project timelines to work completion.
An assessment by Fraser Health indicates that Ainsworth Inc. is the only approved service provider for designing, procuring, installing, and programming IAQ monitoring systems that is compatible with FHA Building Management System (BMS).
The maximum value of this contract will be in the range of $750,000 – plus tax. FHA has chosen not to complete an additional competitive process and extend the current contract with Ainsworth Inc. for the following reasons:

- Ainsworth Inc. is the only approved service provider for Delta controls BMS, Delta IAQ sensors, and Delta OEM parts.
- Ainsworth Inc. has extensive experience in HVAC systems, building controls and FHA BMS.
- Ainsworth Inc. has immediate availability of resources to continue the scope of work.
- Ainsworth Inc. has extensive knowledge of most FHA Sites, existing systems, policies and practices.
- Ainsworth Inc. is registered and comply with all applicable WorkSafe BC regulations.
- Ainsworth Inc. has Commercial General Liability coverage in an amount not less than $5,000,000.00.
- Ainsworth Inc. has Professional Liability insurance coverage in an amount not less than $5,000,000.00 inclusive per occurrence.
- Ainsworth Inc. has Automobile Liability insurance coverage on all vehicles owned, operated or licensed in an amount not less than $5,000,000.00.
