Description
The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy (Ministry) is looking for a Contractor with experience in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reporting to complete a paper impact study. The required work consists of:
  1. Developing lifecycle GHG emission factors for the predominant paper types in use across the provincial public sector (predominant paper types to be provided by the Ministry at Contract award) 
  2. Providing recommendations on how to maintain updated GHG emission factors for paper moving forward; and
  3. Assessing the environmental, social, and economic impacts of the predominant paper types in use across the provincial public sector and providing an infographic, chart, or other visual aid to help guide PSOs in making responsible paper selections that considers these impacts.
The results of this study are intended to guide public sector organizations (PSOs) in making informed decisions on paper purchases and to increase the accuracy of their GHG emissions reporting from paper consumption under the Carbon Neutral Government program.
