    Description
    This ITT is an invitational solicitation run via one of BC Housing’s region-specific prequalified rosters for Prime Contractors. This second stage ITT has been posted publicly to enable Subcontractors and/or Trades who are interested in participating in the project to connect with the invited prequalified Bidders listed below. Only the invited, prequalified Bidders listed below may participate in the bidding process and attend the mandatory site visit.

    Mandatory Site Visit

    Subcontractor Attendance is Optional.

    Optional/Secondary Site Visit

    Bidders and subcontractors may attend a site visit on the specified date within the specified time below.

    Time: 10:00 am PT
    Location of Site Meeting: Friendship Court, 1600 E 8th Ave, Vancouver, BC

    Site visits begin promptly at the time, date and location specified above.

    A sign-in sheet will be provided, and all Bidders are required to sign in. Note that submissions will only be reviewed for those Bidders who have attended and signed the sign-in sheet. No exceptions to this will be permitted.

    All questions and enquiries from the site visit must be submitted to the ITT Contact person prior to the date and time as per section 3.2 Timetable.

    Brief Description of Work
    The work includes Replacement of Roofing and Make-Up Air Unit and as further set out at Appendices:
    1. Appendix E – Specifications and Drawings
    Representatives of your firm attending a site visit must provide and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
    For the complete scope of work, please refer to the Specifications and Drawings in Appendix E. The scope of work includes but is not limited to:
    • Replacement of existing shingle roofing at steep slope areas, with new shingle roofing, as indicated in Specifications and Drawings;
    • Replacement of existing shingle roofing at extreme slope areas, with new metal panel roofing, as indicated in Specifications and Drawings;
    • Replacement of sheathing at targeted steep slope areas, with new sheathing, as indicated in Specifications and Drawings;
    • Replacement of all roofing fascia, with new fascia matching existing, as indicated in Specifications and Drawings;
    • Replacement of all gutters, downspouts, rainwater leaders, and other items facilitating drainage from all roof areas, with new matching existing, as indicated in Specifications and Drawings;
    • Replacement of skylights at main roof, as indicated in Specifications and Drawings;
    • Replacement of existing make-up air unit on main roof, with new make-up air unit, as indicated in Specifications and Drawings. This includes replacement of existing on-roof curb and duct work associated with the make-up air unit.
