Description
The BC Wildfire Service invites tenders for the construction of improvements to the parking area for the provincial wildfire coordination center, west of the airport in Kamloops, BC. A summary of scope of work generally includes the following (refer to SOQ for detailed quantities):
Approximately 3450 m2 of parking lot construction and road restoration
• Installation of street lighting, conduit, and conductors
• Installation of approximately 132 m of 200Ø SDR35 Storm Sewer
• Installation of three Type I catch basins
• Installation of one 1050mm diameter manhole with slotted lid
• Installation of two 1200mm diameter drywells with drain rock and filter fabric
• Optional work to pave with lignin-based asphalt instead of conventional asphalt

The estimated contract period will be 4 month(s).
