    1. INVITATION TO BID
      1. The Village of Lions Bay (“Village”), invites interested parties (“Bidders”) to submit bids (“Bids”) for:
TENDER NO. 01
LIONS BAY BEACH PARK WASHROOM AND SEATING CONSTRUCTION
      1. The Bid Documents can be obtained from the following URL (registration may be required):
https://www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca/ (“BC Bid”).
      1. The work to be performed generally comprises of the following:
        1. The selective demolition of the existing washroom building and the construction of the new washroom building and covered seating area.
        2. The construction of a new hard surface patio and rock retaining wall (rocks supplied by the Village) adjacent to the covered seating area.
        3. Work with playground equipment supplier/installer to provide civil work (including the construction of a new rock wall retaining wall) and fill to allow for the successful construction of a new playground area.
        4. Work with the Village retained septic engineer /supplier/installer to modify the existing washroom septic system.
        5. Final grading around the new playground area and new structures. 
      2. The above description is provided for informal informational purposes only. The drawings and specifications contained in the Contract Documents shall be the exclusive source of the scope of work to be performed by the successful Bidder (“Work”).
      3. The successful Bidder must achieve substantial completion of the Work prior to the date set out in the Bid Form.
