Description
Landscape Development: supply of all labour, materials, and equipment to provide and install all landscape development requirements, including all bed excavation, topsoil, mulches, plant material, gravel and/or topsoil seed restoration and all other landscape products. Prior to the commencement of landscape work, all site conditions will be reviewed and approved by all parties, including MOTI review, and permitting of sign locations and setbacks and survey/line locate information to be staked in the field and coordinated by the Contractor. The Contractor is to maintain the work, with respect to defects caused by omissions and faulty material or workmanship, in complete repair, for a minimum of two (2) years from the date of acceptance of the work by the Owner and/or Consultant (refer to landscape maintenance specifications for specific conditions related to maintenance requirements; extended maintenance; winter maintenance coordination; and holdback conditions). During this period, the Contractor will be responsible for watering and monitoring of all landscape development work provided, including fertilizing, insect, and disease control, and pruning (if required).

The Contractor is responsible for providing structural engineered shop drawings for all gateway and interpretive sign components; gateway and interpretive sign panel and content information; and donor plaque sign panel, content, and mounting information for Owner and/or Consultant review and acceptance, prior to manufacturing and installation. For The Contractor is to maintain the work, with respect to defects caused by omissions and faulty material or workmanship, in complete repair, for a minimum of one (1) year from the date of acceptance of the work by the Owner and/or Consultant.
