Description
The Ministry of transportation and Infrastructure is seeking information from contractors willing to undertake drone surveys using RPAS(Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems) for bridge structures located in British Columbia. The MOTI (Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure) currently manages over 3000 structures in its inventory, which are composed of retaining walls, tunnels, sign structures, culverts, and bridges. With many structures located in geographic areas that prevent ease of access and inspection or because of functional limitations of the snooper truck, a drone inspection would prove valuable to access areas where human hands cannot. In addition, the drone inspection would provide another tool for asset managers to use when necessary.
