    Description
    This Negotiated Request for Proposals (“NRFP”) invites Proposals for the provision of a Payment Card Solution to enhance, replace, and transform the Province’s current services for accepting debit and credit cards for Point of Sale and Online purchases. 

    In order to take advantage of emerging technologies in this space, the Banking Cash Management Branch of the Provincial Treasury, Ministry of Finance is going to the market for a Solution that:
     
    • supports debit and credit card payments at a Merchant’s Point of Sale and through Online purchases;
    • supports Standalone POS Terminals, and Semi-Integrated POS Terminals and Integrated PINpads for Point of Sale transactions;
    • provides a secure Payment Gateway for Online transactions; and
    • provides services to implement the Solution  and all other related services required for acquiring and processing transactions, including equipment rental installation, maintenance and support and reporting and advisory services, as further described in APPENDIX E – OPPORTUNITY PARTICULARS of this NRFP.

    Contract duration

    The estimated contract period will be 156 month(s).
