Description
The Board of Education of School District No. 44 (North Vancouver) seeks qualified Respondents specializing in hospitality and facility management for a strategic partnership at Cheakamus Centre, an overnight field school in Brackendale, BC on the unceded territory of the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) Nation.  The Centre’s mission is to provide authentic, meaningful experiences connecting people to the natural world, inspiring sustainable values and behaviours.  As the owner and operator, the School District delivers experiential environmental, outdoor and Indigenous cultural education programs serving over ten thousand participants from the Sea to Sky corridor, Metro Vancouver and beyond. 
Programs run year-round, ranging from single day visits to multi-day overnight programs.  Facilities are also available for group rentals, including meetings, workshops, retreats, conferences, camps, special events, weddings, and filming.

The successful Respondent will manage the day-to-day operations to support The School District’s programs and increase private rentals aligned with Cheakamus Centre’s vision, mission and business objectives.
