Publication date

Closing date and time 2024/05/15 17:00 EDT

    Description
This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Cowichan Valley Regional District (the “CVRD”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals to update the CVRD’s Regional Parks and Trails Master Plan, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). The CVRD is soliciting proposals from qualified firms with experience in park system strategic/master planning, First Nations engagement, and public engagement, to undertake an engagement and planning process to develop an update to the 2007 Cowichan Valley Regional Parks and Trails Master Plan. The clear and concise updated plan will review and update the regional parks and trails program’s strategic direction, based on the input from an engagement process and research, and identify priorities, policies and actions to guide system development and management for the next 10-15 years, with a particular focus on an updated regional parkland acquisition strategy.
