Road and Bridge Maintenance (Burns Lake Area) BC Bid Contract Summary

This is a road and bridge maintenance contract for the Burns Lake area inside the Nadina Forest District.
The work to be carried out under this contract may consist of the following:
• Spot surfacing and road gravelling
• Pullout construction, maintenance and/or extension
• Ditch and road slump repairs
• Culvert maintenance, replacement, and installation
• Road grading and packing
• Sign maintenance
• Gravel pit development
• Bridge installations, removals, or repairs
• Road deactivation and/or reactivation
• Beaver stop installation
• Snow plowing
• Danger tree removal and right of way brushing
• Grass seeding
• Minor road construction
$20,000.00 in quantities of work will be guaranteed for this contract, but quantities are anticipated to be higher than the guaranteed amount. Sealed tenders for this Road Maintenance project will be received by the Ministry of Forests (the ‘Ministry’), Nadina District Office, 183 Highway 16 West, PXO 999, Burns Lake, BC, V0J 1E0, no later than May 24, 2024 @ 2:00PM, local time, at which time all tenders will be opened in private.
All Tenders received after this date and time will be returned to sender unopened.
