Description
Supply and application of Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure approved Calcium Chloride (CaCl2) dust control at scattered locations over approximately 20.45 kilometers (113,700 litres) of Forest Service Road (FSR) within the Sunshine Coast Natural Resource District – Powell River and Sechelt areas as indicated in this contract and on attached location maps.
CaCl2 dust control application shall include a preparatory grade of the existing road running surface and shoulders to produce a surface that is smooth, uniform, consistent to grade, and crowned or cross sloped as indicated by the character of the existing surface.
Contractor equipment and vehicles must be equipped with working communication radios containing the relevant Forest Service Road dedicated radio frequencies and adhere to applicable road use protocol.
Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 10 month(s).
