    Description
    The Village of Burns Lake invites tenders to complete the following work (approximate quantities)
    •  2,620 cubic metres of cut to stockpile existing road gravels and native soils 
    •  2,800 square metres of  new road construction
    •   450 lineal metres of concrete curb and gutter 
    •   260 lineal metres of 2.4m wide concrete sidewalk
    •   Street light construction
    •   BC Hydro and Telus underground infrastructure
       
    Contract documents are available for purchase at TRUE Consulting #452 Borland Street, Williams Lake, BC

    Electronic Contract Documents are available at no charge through BC Bid.  Paper copies of the Contract Documents can be obtained from the address above for a non-refundable fee of $150.00 plus shipping.

    Sealed tenders, accompanied by the specified Bid Bond, will be received as follows:

    Electronic submissions will also be accepted through the BC Bid website.

    Tenders will be opened in public in the Board Room at the Village of Burns Lake Office at the closing time and date.  Tenders received in the BC Bid electronic submission may not be available at the time of tender close.

    Any changes to the Tender documentation will be issued by means of written addenda and posted on the BC Bid website.  It is the sole responsibility of the tenderer to regularly check for addendums or questions. Upon submitting a tender, tenderers will be deemed to have received notice of all addenda that are issued.

    An on-site information meeting will not be held for this project; however, Tenderers are encouraged to visit the site and review the existing infrastructure in detail.  Much of the existing water, sewer and storm infrastructure will require modification and it is the Tenderer responsibility to view the site and understand the modification requirements.   All contract technical inquiries are to be directed in writing to the owner’s representative prior to 72 business hours before tender closing time:
