Invitation:
Hartland Landfill is owned and operated by the CRD and is located about 14km northwest of Victoria. Serving approximately 440,000 people in the region, Hartland receives approximately 200,000 tonnes of municipal solid waste per year. The environmental monitoring programs at Hartland Landfill are in place to reduce and control impacts to groundwater, surface water, leachate and landfill gas. Over the next few years, the ground water monitoring network at the Hartland Landfill will require adjustments to meet the current and future groundwater monitoring objectives, and the CRD invites quotes for work related to groundwater monitoring wells drilling, decommissioning, augmentation, and rehabilitation services.
