Description
The Ministry of Attorney General and Minister Responsible for Housing (The Province) intends to modify a directly awarded contract to Dye & Durham Corporation for the personal service of Family Law Act protection orders contract total of $685,000 for the following work/service:
- Service of protection orders made in the Supreme and Provincial Courts of British Columbia under Part 9 of the Family Law Act. The orders within scope of this opportunity are those that are made without the respondent present in Court when the order is made.
- Protection orders made under Part 9 of the Family Law Act will be sent by the Province to the Contractor for personal service on the respondents. Contractors are advised that the Province is not making any representation as-regards the volume of work that will arise under the Contract. In the past, the province has issued 1,000 protection orders on average per year, but this isn’t a prediction of future work volume available. Distribution of work volume across the province varies depending on the size and location of each court registry.
Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 12 month(s).
