BCRTC desires to develop standardized frameworks, processes, and documentations to obtain, maintain, and retain competencies for every position throughout the organization for the entire employment lifecycles of staff members. This entails:

- Developing standard competency management schemes;
- Evaluating and improving on existing proficiency management practices;
- Collating any missing foundational competency management data using existing in-house applications (such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft PowerBI, Oracle PeopleSoft, Ceridian Dayforce, SAP SuccessFactors, etc.) to ideally generate summative and trending measures of success for enabling data-driven decision making; and
- Planning for future competency management expansion and sustainment for both technical and non-technical skills.
