This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Fraser Valley Regional Library (the “FVRL”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Automated Materials Handling System, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).
Established in 1930, Fraser Valley Regional Library (FVRL) was the first of its kind in North America. Today, it is the largest public library system in British Columbia, with 25 community libraries and 1 additional location offering Outreach Services for a total of 26 libraries serving over 810,000 people in its service area. FVRL is currently on the fifth year of its Strategic Plan which is available at: http://www.openingmindsenablingdreams.ca/
The objective of this RFP is to select a qualified supplier (the Supplier) for the design, supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, training, support and maintenance of an Automated Materials Handling System (AMHS) at the Maple Ridge Public Library located at 22470 Dewdney Trunk Rd, Maple Ridge, BC.
