Description
Through this Request for Proposals (“RFP”), the City of Merritt (the “City”) invites Proposals for various works to further expand (known as ‘Expansion Phase 2’) the existing Pine Ridge Cemetery, located at 1700 Juniper Drive, Merritt, BC.  The Works will include; stripping of topsoil, grading, concrete block retaining wall, curbing, concrete pavers, trees, shrubs and irrigation.
Contract Time: The following are key milestone dates required for the Work:
  • The Work may commence anytime after: August 12, 2022
  • Substantial Performance of the Work must be achieved no later than:  October 28, 2022
  • Total Performance of the Work must be achieved no later than 20 calendar days following Substantial Performance.
Form of Contract: The Contract placed as a result of this RFP will be the MMCD (Master Municipal Construction Documents) 2009 Unit Price Contract, together with supplementary conditions as detailed in Part C of this RFP.
