Request for Qualifications - Energy Transfer Station Design Services

Lonsdale Energy Corporation (Lonsdale Energy) is requesting proposals from interested proponents (Proponents) in response to this Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) for an organization to provide Energy Transfer Station (ETS) Design Services. As Lonsdale Energy continues to grow, a significant number of ETS Design Projects will be delivered over the next few years. Timelines for the delivery of these projects has been set based on current tendering and supply lead times. Capital projects are expected to range in budget from $40,000 to $180,000.

Lonsdale Energy is a district energy utility solely owned by The City of North Vancouver, currently providing thermal energy to over 15,000 residents in 107 residential, civic, and commercial buildings. Thermal energy is generated in several facilities in the city known as “Mini Plants”. It is delivered for space heating and domestic water heating through a set of underground water pipes between Lonsdale Energy’s Mini Plants and the Energy Transfer Stations (ETS) in the customer buildings. Inside the ETS heat is transferred via heat exchanger to the customer buildings internal heating system.
