Description
Through this Request for Proposals (“RFP”), the City of Merritt (the “City”) invites Proposals from experienced civil contracting firms, to perform construction services for the City’s proposed Compost Site Access Road Project (the ‘Project’), which focuses on upgrading the existing access road to the compost site. The Project is within the City of Merritt and will upgrade the existing gravel access road by maintaining a minimum 4m width, adding a ditch network, and improving access grades throughout. Full details of the Work required is provided in Part A of this RFP.
Contract Time: The following are key milestone dates required for the Work:The Work may commence anytime on or after: September 23rd, 2026. Substantial Performance of the Work: must be achieved no later than November 15th 2026. Total Performance of the Work must be achieved no later than November 30th 2026.Form of Contract: The Contract placed as a result of this RFP will be the MMCD (Master Municipal Construction Documents) 2019 Edition Unit Price Contract, together with supplementary conditions as detailed in Part C of this RFP.To review the RFP documents, ask a question and provide a submission, please visit the City of Merritt's Purchasing Agent's Bids and Tenders bidding platform and register as a vendor:
