    Description
    SUMMARY:

    Through this Request for Proposals (“RFP”), the District of Lake Country (the “District”) invites Proposals from suitability qualified and experienced companies, interested in performing pavement renewal works on Glenmore Road, from approximately 9151 Glenmore Road to the intersection with Chase Road. The renewal work includes a level course, 50mm overlay, and granular material shouldering. The 50mm overlay will increase the paved road width to 8.0m total along this section of Glenmore Road.
    Full details of the Work required is provided in Part A of this RFP, including the referenced Contract Drawings. 
    Contract Time: The following are key milestone dates required for the Work:The Work may commence anytime after: September 16th 2026. Substantial Performance of the Work must be achieved no later than October 15th 2026.Total Performance of the Work must be achieved no later than: October 31st 2026.* The District has a preference for an earlier completion date if possible, however this factor will not form part of the evaluation of this RFP.  All Work must be completed either during night hours Monday to Friday, or on Weekends.

    Form of Contract: The Contract placed as a result of this RFP will be the MMCD (Master Municipal Construction Documents) 2019 Edition Unit Price Contract, together with supplementary conditions as detailed in Part C of this RFP.
