Notice of Intent to Award a Contract
Notice is hereby given by the Columbia Shuswap Regional District (“CSRD”) of its intent to award a contract to Rocky Mountain Phoenix for the supply and delivery of the following:
MSA Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) Equipment that consist of:
The CSRD chose to solicit a price from Rocky Mountain Phoenix, due to the following rationale:
Suppliers wishing to object to this decision should email their objection by Tuesday, September 3, 2024, no later than 2:00pm, local time to: procurement@csrd.bc.ca, Attention: Dona Thiem
Suppliers objecting must provide specific reasons for their objection. The Suppliers ability to provide equipment and services of the same or better quality will be the key criteria with regard to the consideration of Suppliers objections.
Notice of Intent to Award a Contract
Notice is hereby given by the Columbia Shuswap Regional District (“CSRD”) of its intent to award a contract to Rocky Mountain Phoenix for the supply and delivery of the following:
MSA Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) Equipment that consist of:
- 62 - Facepieces
- 25 - Pass, Back Frame and Harness
- 66 - 45 minute 4500 PSI Cylinders
- 3 - RIT Systems
The CSRD chose to solicit a price from Rocky Mountain Phoenix, due to the following rationale:
- Rocky Mountain Phoenix is the sole source of MSA SCBA equipment for fire departments in British Columbia.
- MSA SCBA equipment is currently used by CSRD volunteer fire departments and this will ensure consistency with current inventory and compatibility with active equipment.
- CSRD volunteer firefighters have been specifically trained on the MSA equipment providing for critical safety when responding and qualified staff to perform in-house maintenance as required.
- Rocky Mountain Phoenix maintains a full inventory of compatible MSA SCBA parts and supplies.
